Brimhall Reunion

We were able to go to the Brimhall reunion in Arizona this last week.  Stephen's mother is a Brimhall and they have a big ranch in Pinedale, AZ that everyone gathers, and  I'm talking HUNDREDS of people.

I was chatting with Angie before we left about how lucky we are to live in a day and age where we can actually see and get to know our family.  Years ago people weren't able to see family for years on end.  They couldn't call or email.  All they had were letters to stay in touch with each other.

I really enjoyed visiting with Stephen's sisters and all the extended family that were there.  The kids loved spending time with cousins.

We enjoyed seeing the beauty of Arizona.

The girls loved playing with Grandma Brenda.  She always has bright red lipstick, which to my girls is VERY fancy.  I never wear bright red lipstick myself, because my hair is bright red.  Here are my girls with their fancy lipstick.

Rebecca was glued to Grandma Brenda's hip all day Saturday.

There were PLENTY of games for all ages.  Stephen played volleyball with Janie, Andrew and Paul.  They claimed that they were the champions out of all the families.  Janie and Andrew were also sweet enough to do frisbee golf on a course the boys set up in the trees.

The little ones had fun races and games in the meadow.  Aunt Lael helped Jerrica and Ash with their little events.

Dress up was fun for the little ones.  Ashley loved these tattoo arm sleeves, not to mention the fun umbrella hat.

Swings of course were always full with an occupant.

The last night they had a nice program.  It was reminiscing about Logan and Mary and their 13 kids, that's why the ranch is called the B-13 Ranch.  One of the oldest of the 13 was Vaughn, which is Brenda's father.  Here is a cute picture of Brenda's parents that was on a display Saturday.  I loved it and had to take a picture of it!

B-13Reunion

During the program, the Primary age kids stood up and sang "God Gave Us Families".  It made me cry listening to them.

I love families!  AND I'm so grateful that we were able to spend the weekend getting closer to Stephen's extended family!
