Father’s Day
LOVE holidays that we can celebrate and honor someone.
I sure love MY father and am so grateful for all that he does and has done for me. I can not even begin to tell you how many projects he has swooped in and helped me with. He is so kind and creative. I love you DAD!!!!
The kids also made Stephen feel like he was the greatest dad to ever walk the earth.
In the last picture, I was like why is Ashley screaming and being obnoxious, and then I see “sweet” little Kaylee’s hand reading over PULLING her hair. :/ I still need to yell at her for that one.
We gave Stephen our book of love that I had posted about AND a basket FILLED with his favorite treats, which I should probably go find and steal one out.
I made these popcorn treats for my little church class to give to their fathers. I got the idea and download from - Little Birdie Secrets.
Anyway, Happy Father’s day Dad and Stephen! You are both awesome!
Love you so much!

Father’s Day Booklet
Last year a friend of mine made an amazing book for her daughter when she graduated from high school. She took pictures of family, friends, teachers and coaches holding messages for her daughter. I LOVED the idea and want to remember it for when my kids graduate.
We made a mini one for Stephen for Father’s Day. The kids and I each held up a couple of different message cards. I then printed them up as 4x6’s and made them into a little booklet.
There is just something about the fun, sweet expressions of the people holding the messages. It captures the ages and looks of the kids. I think it even fills the book with a little extra LOVE.
So grateful for special holidays like Father’s Day to celebrate those that we love!

Father's Day
Stephen always gets his birthday and Father's day gifts rolled together.
Last year we got him new dress clothes and guitar software. We stuffed him with all of the new clothes from top to bottom. Our guy looked like this...
This year the kids decided to do another guy. Stephen needed new gym clothes and shoes. He also wanted a new volleyball and basketball. Here is this years guy minus the volleyball...
We also made a treat basket. Stephen has a BIG sweet tooth.
Each treat has a note from one of us that states, "I think you are SWEET because..." OR they say, "It is always a TREAT when you..." I then folded over and taped each note for a little extra "treat" for him.
Needless to say, the gifts were a hit. I think I may need to go sneak a treat out of his basket right now for ME!.
