Sunday Morning

Jacob has been working on a colored pencil self portrait masterpiece for art.  I hadn’t seen him much over the weekend so Sunday morning we decided to crash his room.  I deemed his room, ‘the room’ where I was going to do the girls’ hair for the day.  It was fun to hang out in there and see how his picture was coming along. 

I wish you could see the eyes up close.  They are amazing!  Even that brown background seems to have a texture to it, yet it’s just blended colors.  This boy is so talented!  I will have to post a follow up of the finished piece.
