We just got back from our trip and I feel so behind on everything, from laundry to blogging. Anyway, we went and stayed a couple of days with my parents before the Thompson reunion.
The kids downed popsicle after popsicle.
They also watched all kinds of movies. They always want to watch Grandma’s “The Egg and I” or “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”. They had watched the “Elephant Man” on the first night that we got there and all had quite a fitfull night of sleep.
Mom helped me finish a project that I wanted to take with us camping. I had started a bandana quilt, but hadn’t found time to tie it. Dad set up a canopy one morning and we were able to whip it out. Mom even bound it with a fancy stitch on her new sewing machine.
Other highlights were Stephen riding bikes with the boys to town to get a treat, the go-kart, Aunt Kathy bringing down an assortment of snow cones to enjoy and of course the fun player piano. The kids go right into the piano room and know how to start it going. It is so fun to listen to!
Then off we headed to the Thompson Pow Wow Reunion!
