Kaylee had an amazing team for basketball this year. Rebecca’s 7th grade team on the other hand couldn’t win a single game. I’m just proud that they both made their teams because there were a lot of girls that tried out, and my girls aren’t the tallest.
Before the season even started Kaylee was worried because she still is so small. However, that didn’t stop her a bit. She hustled and worked hard. We would all small as Kaylee would drop in to help out on a post player. We couldn’t believe how flustered the post player would get and that they wouldn’t even shoot over her.
The team was a close team. Every Friday after practice they would meet for a team dinner and team bonding time. It was awesome!
A sister of one of Kaylee’s teammates sent me all of the pictures she had taken of the team and of their victory….
I think she did an awesome job taking pictures of the girls! Here is their win over Cheyenne Mountain ….
I know that’s a slew of pictures but they had to all be stuck in to make the blog book!
