Denver’s Natural History Museum

Stephen and I decided to take the two little girls on a date to Denver.  It was fun seeing how excited they were at each and every thing in the museum.  I love seeing things through the eyes of a child.  They always make everything more fun!

We were greeted by a dinosaur.  The grandpa that controls the contraption is WAY into character!

Health and body section is always a favorite.  Here they recorded your walking and then told you how long it would take you to go to certain places.  Of course we had to play with our gaits.

They measured and checked us out to see if we were healthy.

We were little scientists in the lab.  They have all of the experiments all set up and you can do them.

For some reason the rock section was amazing to the girls.  They would squeal at each formation, color, size and texture.

All of the stuffed animals were like going to the zoo.  The different civilizations also bring the time periods to life.

I kind of wanted to spend the night and have it come alive like Night at the Museum.

BUT Chili’s was calling our name for a late lunch.  I HAD to have some chips and salsa!

There is that credit card commercial that adds up everything and then in the end recounts the memories and says it’s priceless.  That is exactly how I felt about the day.  So many factors came together of taking the girls out of school, Stephen not working this day, and just being able to go with them.  The memories are priceless because we still talk of this day.  We wouldn’t remember this day had the girls been in school or Stephen at work!
