Nathan

This summer I enjoyed sitting by Nathan watching the World Cup and hearing all of his commentaries.  This boy of mine LOVES soccer!

He is thrilled that it is high school soccer time.  Before the season started they had a fun weekend that involved indoor round robins, a 3v3 under the lights late at night, and then a day in Denver with ropes courses and a game at the Rapids.  He came home telling me that the weekend was pure heaven.

Last weekend the high school team went up to Battle Mountain for a night game.  Spent the night and then had a morning game in Frisco.  Once again he came home over the moon.

  

I need to videotape him.  These pictures don’t really show his tricks.  My favorite is when he is soldier juggling and then kicks one high and lets it roll over the back of his shoulders and then right down to his juggling again.  He is awesome!

Our charter school moved up to 4A.  The coach was quite worried about what that would mean for competition.  The team is incredible though!  We have beat last year’s 4A and 5A state champions.  So far we are undefeated.  HOWEVER, our goalie just went in for knee surgery this week, so we shall see how the next few games go without him.  :/
