We have an incredible zoo here in the Springs!
You can ride the elephant’s tusks …
If you are a tiger or cheetah, you can eat the zebras …
‘The zebras in general are quite mellow …
The bears are right up close. You can see the fish through the glass and their huge bear claws swiping at them. I didn’t have a zoom lens for these shots, just my 50mm. :)
You can pet sweet little kangaroos …
You can feed the giraffes …
You can hang out with fun aunts …
… which are just a bit crazy …
Whenever we had to wait for others at face painting, bathroom, or rides, the older girls would break out into a game of Ninja or Zoom. I wish that I would have taken a picture of that.
The little kids LOVED kissing the glass with this orangutan that was kissing back. I was grossed out thinking about how many dirty hands had touched the glass, but didn’t want to make them stop because of how excited they would get at him interacting with them.
Such a fun day with perfect weather!
I am always in awe every time I leave the zoo at such a wide variety of animals we have here in Earth!

We miss that zoo so much! More than that, we miss those crazy Aunts and Uncles and all those fun cousins too! Such great photos with all the families!
