We woke early and headed up to see Jackson Hole’s Fourth of July parade. It was set by such a beautiful backdrop. They threw out the traditional corn on the cob, and we had enough necklaces that you might think we were enjoying Mardi Gras.
Lunch was at Bubba’s BBQ. My mouth waters just typing that!
We then headed to the Grand Teton’s National Park, which is always breathtaking!
Nathan acting like he needs Jerrica’s help to balance, yet he secretly is pushing her off. UGH!!!
A kind man took our picture. I should have paid attention and had our Fourth of July shirts a little more dispersed. We look like the half red/half blue family!
Sure love these sweet kids!
We first hiked a small trail. Then couldn’t resist finding a lake to jump in. It was SO hot that the cool lake water felt like heaven. Jacob was dying to swim across Jenny Lake. Stephen wouldn’t let him do it by himself. So we settled for pretend mermaid play, frisbee in the water, giggling, floating, and chilling in the hammock.
You know that you are a ‘real’ swimmer when you bring goggles on a trip!
The ball goes EVERYWHERE! Even to the Grand Tetons!
I wish that I would have taken more pictures! I don’t know how many times I heard the kids say, it’s so beautiful, thank you for taking us on this trip, it is so gorgeous, …. It truly was, especially having all of my family there to enjoy it together!
Next up was Yellowstone ….
