It’s tradition to have the Hopkin’s over for the night. My boys and Ashton went to Dion’s and then to the dance. The rest of us stayed home to play games and eat appetizers.
I did packets again this year that were sealed for each hour. One packet had glow sticks for glow in the dark hide and seek, cans of silly string for a war, a movie, and one had yellow balloons tied to it. We put a helium balloon in each room in the house and they had to run around with their nerf guns shooting the balloons. Each person was timed to see who could do it the fastest. One packet had forms to fill out about last year. The packets made the time fly by, and also helped keep the little ones busy as the older ones played games.
The last three pics were right before the silly string war. They were trying their cans out on Trenya. I wish that I would have gotten a picture of Trenya. She was COVERED with silly string!
One of the games we played was this card game…
It was such a fun night laughing, eating, and playing games!
I have fond memories playing that game with my aunt and uncle's family. We had to dress the Part too by wearing hats that corresponded to the position we were in.
