Thompson Reunion

Stephen’s side of the family takes turns planning and running the reunion.  All of us send in our reunion fees and those in charge disperse it for all of the food and activities for the week.  This year was Jon & Janna’s turn.  It was awesome!  We stayed and played near Heber Valley.  My girls were thrilled to be sleeping in cabins IN bunk beds.  Apparently, bunk beds are so much fun that it’s exciting to go to bed. Cabin3 I was surprised at how immaculate the cabins were.  Each cabin sleeps 16.  We had an extra cabin for late night games and crafts during the day.  Here is what they look like from the outside.

After we got all settled in, we headed down to the famous Dairy Keen in Heber for their delicious milkshakes.  They did not disappoint!

Our favorites were the tripleberry, mint oreo, and the orange dreamsicle.  When we got back to the cabins everyone was finally coming in, so we hung out with cousins.

Cousins Cousins2 Stephen has SIX sisters, so there is always someone to visit with!  After everyone got settled we ended the evening by making Smoritos with yummy raspberries, chocolate and mini marshmallows.  Then we played game after game in the “Party Cabin”.  AND that was our first day!  :)
