Every summer we have a science day. We bring out the Coke and Mentos for explosions. We do a few little science kits and then a some of our own concoctions. The sense of touch is awesome in science. There is just something about slime gooshing through fingers.
Some we did in the morning and left to sit a while. This one shows the water traveling to the middle cup and the colors combining. The next one was a crystal kit that grows.
The boys rolled their eyes at these experiments, BUT when the explosions starting happening, they were sure right there to help. I think I would LOVE to be a science teacher.
