Girls' Night Out

Elaine has two girls that are the same ages as Kaylee and Rebecca.  Our girls get along really well with each other, AND so do Elaine and I!  SO we decided to have a little girls night out.  We headed to Artful Adventures and made a few masterpieces....

It was so fun to talk with Elaine and hear all the girls' conversations.  We then headed to Claire's to see all of their fun jewelry, and pick up some new accessories.  We were on our way to California Pizza when I realized I needed to go home for Stephen.  Nathan had an 8 o'clock game in Thornton that morning, which meant Stephen leaving here by 5:30 am to get Nathan there by 7:00 am to get warmed up.  Stephen has also been soooo sick.  So his sickness mixed with the early morning meant an early night for the girls.  We did however take a rain check for another night out to dinner.

My big girls ARE really getting big.  They are so fun to talk and hang out with.  I hope that when they are teenagers, that they will still hang out with Elaine and me.

Kaylee also had her good friend Nicole fly in for the weekend from Houston.  She was able to spend the night with us one night and then Miss Kaylee was able to go to the Melting Pot with her family on another night.  I love this picture of Kaylee and Nicole snuggled together watching a late night chick flick.

So grateful for good friends!
