Sculpture Park

So off we headed to the sculpture park.  We had a nice picnic when we arrived as can be seen on Ashley’s face -

Then off we headed to enjoy the sculptures.  I loved the motion and expression that was conveyed in them.

We found this on one of the girls fingers, and Miss Rebecca had her matching ring.

I talked with the kids about why the artist would have included this ring.  We talked about how neat it is that we know exactly what it stands for, “Choose The Right”.  What a sweet message he is leaving to all of his posterity!

There were so many incredible sculptures.  The photos above are just a few of our favorites.  I noticed that there were tons more scattered around town.

We ended our day with FHE tonight and can you guess what we talked about?!?  Creating.  Stephen had the kids watch the clip from President Uchtdorf and then I made some homemade playdough that they created figures out of.  Isn’t it exciting how different we all are, and what neat talents can be shared with each other.
