Ryan, Kristy, Stephen and I went on a date one night to the temple to do a session. Then the older kids went on a Saturday morning to do baptisms. Kristy and I brought the younger ones to walk around the grounds and get CTR rings.
The temple was gorgeous with the dark wood trim and all of the stained glass. I just loved this temple and was grateful that my older kids could spend time in it.
On Christmas Eve we finished up last minute presents, made cut out cookies for Santa, ate wayyy too many appetizers, had a rootbeer taste testing contest, played Christmas games, acted out the nativity, opened our PJ’s, and headed to bed.
This was our baby Jesus “by” a manger instead of “in” a manger.
Angels were in full singing mode, with Shelby the Sheep below by Ben the shepherd.

There are so many things that I didn’t get pictures of that I don’t want to forget.

We went to the Japanese Gardens. I wasn’t expecting them to be so big. There were trails everywhere with bridges and look out points.
We did a 1,000 piece Christmas puzzle, and were quite intrigued and frustrated by this ball puzzle of Ryan’s.

We also enjoyed the Whitt Museum. Sydney had just been there with her school class, so she was our official tour guide. The older kids solved a CSI crime scene as the young ones enjoyed the science tree house.
